When you make this booking you are entering into a legal contract with us.
Prices:
The price includes accommodation and breakfast. All balances are to be paid on arrival at Maryland. Any additional meals, drinks and telephone calls etc are to be paid for on your departure.
The forms of payment
We accept are cash, credit or debit card and personal cheques, the latter which must be received 10 days prior to arrival.
Cancellation:
Upon booking and having paid your deposit, our agreement is a legal contract and any deposit you may have paid is non-refundable.
If for any reason you have to cancel please let us know at your earliest convenience. Any cancellations made up to 28 days before your bookings you will not be liable for the total balance. Cancellations after this time will be liable for 75% of the total amount. You may wish to take out cancellation insurance through a reputable broker which is inexpensive.
Non-availability:
We would only cancel if your accommodation was unavailable due to circumstances beyond our control. If such circumstances were to arise we would endeavor to arrange alternative accommodation. If this was not possible or unacceptable to you then all monies paid by you would be refunded. Our liability would not extend above this refund.
Accommodation:
Your accommodation will be available from 2pm on the day of your arrival but please let us know if you intend to arrive after 6pm.
Please be ready to leave your accommodation at 10am on the day of your departure. Your bill for any extras or services taken during your stay are payable by cash on your departure.
Damages and breakages:
You are responsible and liable for any damages or breakages which you cause to the accommodation or its contents so please take care in our accommodation. If damages, spillages or breakages do occur please report them as soon as possible.
If the damages, spillages or breakages are significant we may send you an invoice for repair or for making good of the damaged items. Any bedding,towels etc that are soiled and we fail to get clean will be charged to you on a new for old basis.
Spray tans and self tanning products are not to beused in the accommodation.
Smoking:
Maryland is a totally non-smoking accommodation. (This does include 'hanging out of windows' and smoking) This is a legal requirement and anyone not abiding by this requirement will be asked to leave and no refunds will be given.
Anyone who does wish to smoke may do so outside of the building and in an allotted area which will be pointed out to you on your arrival.
Pets:
Sorry but we do not have the facilities for pets to stay.
Take away meals:
We request that no take away food is to be eaten in the bedrooms but we will be more than happy to set up tables in the dining room for you to eat your meal in comfort.
Liability:
We do not accept any liability for any damage, loss or injury to any member of your party or any possessions or vehicles, unless proven to be caused by a negligent act by ourselves or our employees or contractors whilst acting in the course of employment.
